Sign up for JYNGLE, emergency notification system

As part of our efforts to continue to enhance safety efforts around campus, we have decided to implement an emergency notification system in coordination with JYNGLE. This system is provided to the Milligan community at no cost and will be used only to provide emergency notification through a text and/or voice notice. If you wish to be a part of this system please follow the directions below. Your participation is completely voluntary. It is our hope that you will chose to participate in this system. 

 

These are the steps for creating an account with Jyngle, verifying a contact phone number, and joining Milligan College Emergency Contact Group.

Steps To Receive Emergency Information from Milligan College

 

  1. REGISTER
    1. Click on the above website link   
    2. Click on the link and Register to create an account with Jyngle (must use a valid Milligan email address)
    3. You will receive an email verification from Jyngle
  2. LOGIN & VERIFY NUMBER
    1. Click on the email link and Login to Jyngle with user ID and password that you created
    2. Click on ” You have one unverified number” in the upper right hand corner to verify your phone
    3. Click ”verify this number” at the bottom of your screen
    4. You will receive a verification phone call from Jyngle
  3. JOIN MILLIGAN NETWORK 
    1. Log back into Jyngle and Click on Search Tab
    2. Under Group Search type in Milligan College and Click Search
    3. Under search results click Join Now
    4. Enter password to join Milligan College group  PASSWORD: milligan
    5. Once you’re approved by an administrator of the college, you will be able to receive emergency text messages.
